The main purpose of the energy usage rating and analysis
is to reduce your electric costs and increase home comfort and value.
Please do not simply look at the $$$ I charge you versus the rebate $$$.

THE REBATE PACKAGE COSTS:

The cost of this basic package is $650, 50% due at the first visit.  Any additional costs will alwasy be discussed before work is done.

A basic rating includes ONE BASIC INFRARED IMAGHING WALKTHROUGH, all of the reports, measurement tests, and filings that are required by the State for the HERO program. It also includes a recommendations report, the two site visits,and MY pressure pan duct leakage test.

(This price is based on a single story home in the greater New Orleans area, with no more than one central a/c system and no more than 2500 square feet.)

KR Services will cease all work and refund half of the basic fee if the customer cancels the program after the initial visit within six months. (No reports will be prepared.) The cancellation refund will be only 25% of the basic fee if the initial report has already been filed with the State (the report is due within two weeks of the visit). Payment of the basic rating fee upon the initial visit initiates this agreement.

An extended rating includes all of the above, but if the home is larger it will take much longer to do a rating. A duct pressurization test must be done for each air system, and the structure information can be twice as complex.

There is additional cost to the basic rating for existing hva/c central systems ,extra floor levels in the home, homes over 2500 square feet, a/c grills over 10 feet over the floor, or out of town travel. This normally doesn't exceed an extra $150.

Additional visits to the home site for routines not included in the basic rating package will be billed at a rate of $75/hr portal to portal, plus expenses.

Without the HERO program, An evaluation with Blower door test only for a home site includes the tests, and a written report of the results, including areas of major leakage. (No state filings or reports will be made)

The cost for this is normally $250 which includes one a/c system test. Add $40 per additional a/c system tested.
